Trad on the Prom celebrates the passion of Ireland’s past with a contemporary production, of world class music, song and dance derived from the pulsating energy that has survived from the dawn of Celtic mysticism to become the record breaking phenomenon it is today.

Performers who have captivated audiences in such extraordinary productions as ‘Riverdance‘, ‘The Chieftains’, ‘Lord of the Dance‘ and ‘Feet of Flames‘ have now gathered together on ONE STAGE for an unforgettable entertainment experience in the City of the Tribes.

Dancers

The Trad on the Prom dancers are lead by Cian Nolan. Cian danced alongside Michael Flatley in ‘Lord of the Dance’ and then performed in the lead role for more than 6 years in this record breaking show. He is now living in Limerick and is in big demand for his dance master classes.

Claire Greaney was successful in winning the World championship for all of five consecutive years. She has also won many major titles numerous times including the All-Ireland Championships, The British National Championships, The Great Britain Championships, The All Scotland Championships and The Connaught Championships. Claire was unbeaten in all of these titles in the year 2011.

Siobhán Manson, female lead dancer from Riverdance performs regularly with Trad on the Prom when not touring with the world famous show.

Mary McDonagh has performed with many shows including ‘Riverdance’, ‘Celtic Legends’ and the new musical ‘Tara’. Living in Galway, like Cian, she is also highly sought after for her dance classes.

World champions Cathal and Fergal Keaney thrill the audience with their high energy, intricate dance routines.

Champion dancers Doireann Carney, Anne Marie Keaney and Emer Finnerty complete this world class cast.

Since joining Trad on the Prom in 2010 Sean-Nós sensation Emma O’Sullivan has thrilled international audiences every performance as she displays her wonderful talent as one of the leading exponents of Sean-Nós (Old Style) Irish Dancing.
