Galway Dance Project, Brú Theatre and the Town Hall Theatre present Remote Control Artists Showcase
Culture Night, Friday 18th September 7pm at the Town Hall Theatre
Join Galway Dance Project, Brú Theatre and the Town Hall Theatre for an evening of live performance, dance and music as we review and showcase the work of three Galway based artists.
Kristyn Fontanella, Fionnuala Doyle Wade and SJ Woods have been taking part in the inaugural Remote Control programme over the last three months. Working remotely with experienced mentors (Oona Doherty, Louise Lowe, New Art Club) these three artists have been developing new work during the Covid 19 lockdown.
On Friday 18th we will showcase and discuss some of the work developed so far. The event will be facilitated by Brú’s James Riordan.
Remote Control was designed to help early to mid career artists to new ways to engage their audiences, network with arts organisations in the city and to develop relationships with professional mentors in their chosen field. Remote Control is developed and managed by Brú Theatre, Galway Dance Project and the Town Hall Theatre and is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.
Admission is free but ticketed. Due to Covid restrictions tickets are very limited and will be available from the Town Hall Theatre from 10am on Monday 7th September. Call 091 569777 to book
This event begins at 7pm and runs until 8pm. No tickets available on the door due to Covid 19 restrictions. All public safety guidelines will be adhered to in line with the Town Hall Theatre’s Covid-19 safety plan.
